Christmas is coming which means Wii Party is out and the Nintendo Festive Campaign has been announced.
Nintendo knew what they were doing with the Wii Party game as the game entered the UK charts at number ten this week. The Wii Party, although not at the top of the charts will definitly be a grower as more and more Christmas lists add this fun title to the items wanted from Santa.
With the Mii characters playing a big part in the game and the Wii remote coming as part of the bundles, then this game should run and run. And talking of Christmas, Nintendo have just released their Christmas marketing campaign. The Wii Party craze has started already!
It’s is no surprise really that the new Wii Party game has rocked straight to the top of the Japanese software chart for the week ending July 11th. Wii Party the new, soon to be massive title for the Nintendo Wii Console which is released in Japan next month, will come in three different versions according to the official Japanese website. There are two different Wii controller bundles which both come with Wii Party and the choice of either a white or pink remote.
What’s brewing for the Nintendo Wii Console at the E3 this year?

Big news is on its way for the Nintendo Wii Console at the E3 Expo:
The big day is nearly here for all Nintendo Wii Console fans as tomorrow is the E3 Expo. For those of you not in the know about the E3 Expo it’s the world’s leading trade show for computer and video games in L.A. Although the3DS has kept the Wii off the main stage recently, this Expo is expected to be the stage for more announcements to get the console interest high again.
The new Legend of Zelda game will be unveiled hopefully with the Motion Plus playing an even more vital role in the title. These is hope that it will be released just in time for Christmas so get that one on your Christmas list!
On the subject of games for the Wii Console, Just Dance have announced on their Facebook page that they are unveiling some exciting news tomorrow at the Expo so keep your ears to the floor with a possible announcement of the Just Dance 2 title maybe! [Read more...]

Get a sneak peek into the new Wii Party Game
Following on from this post about the Wii Party game for the Nintendo Wii Console, further details have been announced about the Living Part mode of the game. Much like Mario Party there’ll be around 70 mini games to enjoy using your Mii, including traditional games like Bingo, Roulette, and the Living Party mode. There are rumoured to be more than 80 games and one game, Wanwan Karuta, involves players holding their Wiimote, and whilst the controller release a sound, the player has to match the sound to the correct animal on the screen.
